An Iftar at The Oberoi Dubai has a class of its own. It’s held at the very chic restaurant
Nine7One on the ground floor with great outdoor seating and live Arabesque music. The
Iftar buffet predominantly features traditional Middle Eastern flavors known to
be Ramadan favorites starting off with the obligatory platter of dried fruit. The buffet has
an assortment of dishes. There is something to please everyone, and it is near impossible to
try everything in one sitting. It also features a live cooking station for steaks and grills.
Guests can enjoy the choicest of cuts freshly grilled and the marinated grilled shrimps
seemed to be everyone’s favorite. Harees which is a Ramadan special was delectable and
flew off the counter in minutes. A variety of freshly baked breads seem to be a good
addition as well. The buffet also featured a good number of vegan options for its patrons
without any compromise on the taste.
Although the buffet for appetizers and mains offered an excellent array of delicious choices,
it was the dessert counter that was stealing the show. It had a chocolate fountain with
marshmellows and the kids were flocking it. The Arabic classics like Kunafa, Baklava and
Umm Ali were appealing too.
The seating arrangements and the ambience was perfect for socializing over a scrumptious
Iftar buffet with family and friends. All of this was topped off by their attentive and
personalized service. Travex definitely recommends the Oberoi Iftar buffet at the Business
Bay for a memory as pious and joyous as the holy month of Ramadan.
