Our city is like a city that never sleeps. There is a night of fun everyday of the week, whether you are a local or a guest to the Emirates. However like in every country locals and visitors to the city will always have their favourite pub, bar, club or lounge as the go to place for a drink or a weekend out. Such a place is the Koubba Bar located in Jumeriah.

Its exact location is at the iconic Madinat Jumeirah and the lavish terrace of Koubba Bar is one of the most luxurious bars in Dubai and definitely a bar to be at as the sun goes down on the Arabian Gulf.

Take in the sweeping views of the resort or simply sink into the comfy sofas under the warm lighting of our Arabesque lanterns – it’s a great way to finish a day’s exploring or a long day at work. Once you step into Koubba you can feel all the stress sink away just as the sun slowly sets and you settle down to relax.

There are sunset-themed cocktails from the mixology trolley to complement the moment of the beautiful surroundings and unforgettable views. If it is your first time in Dubai here is the change for you to take some pictures with the Burj Al Arab as your background as this nightspot is nestled just by the magnificent structure.

As you stay longer you can enjoy the musical talents of Heart & Soul, performing Monday to Saturday, from 20:15 to midnight. But we suggest coming early to ensure you get a seat and of course to enjoy the sunset as the bar opens from 17:00.

Koubba Bar is located on the Lobby Floor of Jumeirah Al Qasr at the breathtaking Madinat Jumeirah. The dress code is smart casual and the bar is usually opened Saturdays to Wednesdays from 5pm to 2am and on Thursday and Friday until 3am.

The cuisine is a comprehensive mix of light fare such as Koubbar Nachos, Braised Beef Rib Croquettes, Calamari, Spicy Miso Cod, and the Koubba Bites (this is especially for vegetarians). There are also a range of hot and cold Arabic mezzes, which is perfect if you want to try Arabic food such as Hommous, Kebbeh, Falafel and Fattayer.

You could also try Shisha from 7.30pm as you relax in the perfectly modern yet Arabic influenced settings, getting a real feel for hospitality that Dubai is renowned for.
