 Travex Tips
  • The Museum parking area and nearby public parking areas are available (relatively few)
  • Do not self drive to museums and heritage sites as they are located in crowded old city areas and parking is a scarcity there; you are rather advised to use public transport.
  • Wear easy to slip in and out footwear as many places would need you to remove your footwear.

One of the most enticing attributes about the city of Dubai is the many shopping opportunities that are available. The city is a shopper’s paradise with lots to offer with discount sales, bundle packages and finding valuable goodies from around the world.

This bonanza is taken to the next level, with doors of shopping extravaganza being open at the Global Village. Located in the heart of new Dubai development, Global Village is off course from the main city and is located on a sprawling space near Dubai land. As a new comer, one can always take the taxi or you can join in the ride and the scenery enroute the metro and bus routes with RTA. Take the metro to Union Metro Station in Deira and directly walk upto Union Metro Bus Stop C02 to board Bus No. 103, that will take you right up to Global Village. The journey is an hour’s duration, so get ready to enjoy a trip around the city of Dubai, but as Global Village opens doors at 4:00 pm, an evening trip to the shopping haven is highly recommended.
