Submerged within the 30-acre Burj Lake, at the foot of The Dubai Mall, powerful water jets are laid out strategically over an area equal to the size of two football pitches. The fountain jets up to 22,000 gallons of water as high as 140m in the air at any one time.

Each colourful, illuminated jet sways in time to music, producing what has become the most popular show in Dubai. As the fountains fire, a range of beautiful, classical and contemporary music plays in sync with the show, which takes place every 30 minutes from 6pm daily.

The water dances to different choreographed melodies which will leave you spellbound. Some popular tracks include Michael Jackson's Thriller, Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman's Time to Say Goodbye, and most recently Power by Korean pop band EXO.

The unique design features five circles of jets which shoot water to impressive heights that can be seen from over 30km away. With the introduction of thousands of WET super lights and over 20 colour projectors, the spectacle is a visual masterpiece

While cruising the lake on the traditional abra boat, we marvelled on the magnificent sights of Burj Khalifa, Souk Al Bahar, Downtown Dubai and The Dubai Mall. We enjoyed front row seats to the world's largest fountain. The Dubai Fountain Lake Ride is a wonderful experience we will never forget.

Must try everyone and worth to spend 10 minutes time with your family. The show is every 10 minutes and you must be there at least 15 minutes prior to the show where you can get some spot to get good photos or videos. Every time the fountain will follow with different songs. Also there is RTA boat service which you can move around. During the show there will no boat service. Lots of restaurants around the fountain area where you spend some good time with your family and friends. You will definitely appreciate.
